  1. Hi I am trying to set scheduler for all cities in Poland (same time zone) and it is not possible.

    Please add operation country or regions so anybody could set scheduler for whole regions.

    I think you might be confused by how the scheduler works.

    The whole of poland is under one timezone, so why would you need to set it at a city level?

  2. Avatars for users

    Hi there,
    Can you add avatar feature for users as well?
    So, if the system that uses your chat, which have users' avatars would be able to send avatars with user emails.

    These are 2 distinctly different functionalities that is why they are kept separate. But thank you for worrying about the cleanliness of the use forum!

  5. I would like the chat system to offer the user the option to go to a URL where they can open a manual ticket if there is no one available.

    When a user starts a chat and no one is available to take it, the system only sends an email with the transcript. I would like to be able to configure an option that instead tells the user no one is available, and asks whether they would like to be directed to a URL that allows them to manually create a support ticket on our system.

  6. There should be an option to have the embedded chat always fill the users screen

  7. Submit tickets via own ticketsystem instead of Tawk.to ticketsystem

    Some ticketsystems have their own api to create a ticket from outside the ticketsystem.

    Would be great if we can enter this information easily via the admin.

    The ticket can then be created on demand from the agents dashboard, without entering manually that in the other ticketsystem.

    Although we will be working on several integrations in the near future, other ticketing systems are not in our scope. Maybe later in the future.

  8. Customers should not edit name and email when auto-defined

    When I use the visitor(); to set default name and email, I won't want my customers to be able to edit them.
    Please add it.

    Hi there dear tawker,

    This function is used to set a default, unique name value for each Visitor. Visitors are still able to change their name from the Widget options and for Agents the fields are editable because Visitors can enter false data and the Agent should be able to change that data at any given time.

    something you should add to your system is that when this "off" you can place a false ONLINE and when you give click to redirect to a URL that can be a ticket system for example.

    Unfortunately this would be misleading your Visitors because you would be offline while Visitor thinks you are online. That is why we have an offline form for which you can add a little banner.

  12. enable ring tones/sound notifications when I'm on a call. It's causing me to miss messages.

    Right now, it makes a sound and notifies me if I'm not on the phone. But if I'm on a call, it doesn't make any sounds with the notification.

    There is no way we can change notification settings while you are on a call because that is specified by the OS.

  13. allow tawk.to frame to have more flexible placing

    Currently you can only have iframe at fixed location, would be nice to allow different / more flexible positions for example.

    Allow 60% / 70% from top, not in the middle.

    Currently we are not planning on introducing free placement of the Widget but once the Visitor have the Widget opened (expanded), you can move it around the site by dragging the top Widget bar.

    After a new user registered there is this auto send mail from tawk.to. There is currently now way to disable these mails. Please make that possible :).

    We understand the need for such limitations for number but in reality, if a Visitor doesn’t want to enter a real number, they won’t. So, instead of making them enter a number in a specific format, we allow them to enter what they want.

    This lowers the frustration level when a Visitor decides to start a conversation with you but is not ready to share sensitive information yet.

  17. Option to show/hide user timeline in chat window

    Now if a user come to chat then he view some pages and again ask something, it's not easy to maintain the conversations because in the chat we see the links he visited then have to scroll to top to see what we were talking about.
    If we have a switch like 'Hide chat detail' for timeline would be great.

  18. Automatically link pre-defined phrases

    I think it would be great if we could pre-define phrases that associate with URLs as I often find myself typing the name of products, etc and it would be great if they automatically became links within my message to the site visitor.

    This is a wonderful idea but unrealistic to implement, given the amount of different sites and products on them. But you can make keyboards to include specific links.

    We cannot control who uses the Widget but you can use the Ban function to ban people who abuse your site with fake requests.

    The problem with sensitive information like email or phone number, is that you can make all the validations in the world but if the Visitor does not want to provide their exact and accurate details, there is no way for us to force them to do it.
