  2. Trigger Issue

    I'm having a website trigger issue, I set a website trigger up as an auto responder a few weeks ago and now under site it is no longer there however it is still happening. Could you please help me with this situation it would be great.

  3. Change the "Estimated" wait time for tawk support.

    It always says 1 minute estimated wait time, it usually takes more than 20 minutes.

    This is declined. The estimated wait time is automatically calculated based on the average time it has taken to answer a chat for the account. If it says 1 minute, then that’s how long it takes us on average to answer.

  5. Allow website script to pass values through the embeded script so Agent knows who his talking to automatically.

    When pasting script onto the html. Allows web programmer to pass values to the chat box. For instance a server side script paste the user detais automatically to the chat through the embeded javascript so when agent views the visitor, it automatically shows who the agent is talking to through the values passed.

  6. Donation or some sort of support trigger

    Hi,

    I am happy its free service and will always stay free. Ads sucks! but perhaps you can put a donation button, or embrace people to surf through your referalls. For example, ''if you wanna support TAWK', please surf and know about our customers'' link, mercedes etc. other companies using your services.

  7. Make it so agents don't need a tawk.to account.

    One of the problems with the tawk.to accounts is that when you want people to be agents they have to make a new account. In idea i would like is for the admin or promoted users will be able to create 'local' accounts. This would work in one of the following ways:

    1) The user opens the chat window like a normal user, then selects 'Admin Login' (a small link at the bottom, next to the 'O Tawk.to' Then the chat area will be replaced by a small login screen, they will be sent ONE user at a time and…

    Although we understand why you would want such an option we don’t have any plans on people using tawk.to without registered accounts. This adds liability and removes responsibility.
    Also we currently are not thinking of making our platform open source.

  8. Important News Banner

    This will allow a custom banner to show at a selected location when a user opens the website. This will to good to say when there are new updates for the webpage or a tawk.to update like ''the live chat will be offline for the next few days, click here for more information'' When they click the update banner it will take them to a link(optional).

    This will also have a cross, this will close the update and not show it again for x hours.

  9. Create instant messaging support (example: gtalk, msn, ym, skype, jabber, xmpp)

    Allow receiving chats via globally used instant messaging protocol/s like XMPP, google talk, msn, yahoo messenger, skype..

    one most compatible would be sufficing and greatly appreciated

    Less and less IM’s are supporting external integration (eg: Google Hangouts no longer supports XMPP), so it would be a waste of resources to integrate with 3rd party instant messengers. We hope to better our mobile apps over the coming months, and launch desktop versions of the app, so that it removes the need for IM support entirely.

  11. close widget

    A simple way to close the minified widget (a X at the very right). So that customer's not interested in a live chat option, can simply remove the whole thing. Especialy handy for mobile users, where the widget seems to be openend up by accident.

  12. Disable input form for offline message (= just a leave a message)

    For offline messages, we don't want the user be able to leave us a message directly (which we get via email from tawk.to, very hard to track and reach out to customer).

    Instead, we just want to leave a note, telling the user he can always send us an email to our support team (which then lands in our ticketing system).

    Hi!
    The offline message will be placed as open chat in Messaging section.
    You can convert that offline message into a ticket and have conversation with the customer through tawk.to ticketing system.

  13. Reply address on messages should be the users

    Currently, offline messages are sent with the Tawk.to address as the reply address. This should be the customers email address.

    This speeds up responding.

    A small thing, but could end up being a bit frustrating.

    This is done to prevent using Visitors email address for marketing purposes without their permission.

    Hope this answers why this is done this way.

  14. Add option to have white minimize and maximize arrows.

    Some themes will prefer a dark color for the chat header. Unfortunately arrows are dark grey and they are not visible under this color schemes. An option for light color arrows would be easy to implement and nice for users. Thank you very much.

  16. Self hosted files would be nice!

    To be able to host on our own server would be great. So that we can easily integrate with out custom servers without having to punch wholes thought the firewall and keep the software in house.

  19. An advise for the iOS app

    Please, when developing the iOS app, consider enabling screen rotation. The Zopim app does not support it and that's the reason I do not use it. It's very inconvinient to chat with a client "on the go" with a keyboard on a vertical screen.

  20. Select the agents who receive notifications from offline messages.

    Currently all agents get forwarded a message which means I have to deal with drama issues of who gets the lead. It would be nice to select which agents get offline messages forwarded to them.
