  2. enable ring tones/sound notifications when I'm on a call. It's causing me to miss messages.

    Right now, it makes a sound and notifies me if I'm not on the phone. But if I'm on a call, it doesn't make any sounds with the notification.

    There is no way we can change notification settings while you are on a call because that is specified by the OS.

  3. allow tawk.to frame to have more flexible placing

    Currently you can only have iframe at fixed location, would be nice to allow different / more flexible positions for example.

    Allow 60% / 70% from top, not in the middle.

    Currently we are not planning on introducing free placement of the Widget but once the Visitor have the Widget opened (expanded), you can move it around the site by dragging the top Widget bar.

  4. No "checking in from Tawk.to" emails for new users

    After a new user registered there is this auto send mail from tawk.to. There is currently now way to disable these mails. Please make that possible :).

    We understand the need for such limitations for number but in reality, if a Visitor doesn’t want to enter a real number, they won’t. So, instead of making them enter a number in a specific format, we allow them to enter what they want.

    This lowers the frustration level when a Visitor decides to start a conversation with you but is not ready to share sensitive information yet.

    When I use the visitor(); to set default name and email, I won't want my customers to be able to edit them.

    This function is used to set a default, unique name value for each Visitor. Visitors are still able to change their name from the Widget options and for Agents the fields are editable because Visitors can enter false data and the Agent should be able to change that data at any given time.

    The problem with sensitive information like email or phone number, is that you can make all the validations in the world but if the Visitor does not want to provide their exact and accurate details, there is no way for us to force them to do it.

    Our product is not designed to do this. You van try using Google Admin Console for this but there are other tools made specifically for this.

    Can I have a feature of asking questions from the user on 1 click?

    Example: http://www.premiumsoftwares.com is my website. Herein, when a visitor comes in and ask for a web design package, can we send them questions in between of the chat.

    Visitor: I need a website for my company
    Agent: What kind of website are you looking at?

    Visitor: Where can I call you?
    Agent: Call us one xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx

    Visitor: tell me the price

    Autocorrect is built in the OS you use (except Windows currently) and not built in each app. You can try using any 3rd party app for grammar if necessary.

    We will be revisiting notifications in the near future but the reasoning to not show that one notification forever is that we are limited to what the OS allows us. Also if you start getting 20 different conversations, your whole desktop would be filled with notifications that are not going away and that would be more annoying than if you have notifications appear when they come in.

  14. create a widget to allow the upload of forms to collect identifying information from the user.

    The form feature during a live chat would allow organizations an easy way to collect information needed for someone to join. The alternative at the moment is to simply ask them the questions but if there was a pre-created form that could be used, it would simplify the process both for the agent and user.

    We see that users are requesting this feature but once you are already in a conversation with a Visitor, you can manually change Visitors information in conversation details.

  15. Remove client cookies from the widget

    It would be desiderable to allow a "remove client data on chat closed" from the widget configuration menu. I've some clients that chat with us from a public computer. We ask for client's name prior to chat but once the client close the chat, the next client is not asked to fill his/her name and the name of the previous client is used, because the computer is the same.

    We are not planning on removing the cookie data because it breaks the statistics. But you can inform Visitors to use the incognito mode that most of the modern browsers have and that will clear cookies automatically after closing the browser window.

  20. Exit monitoring

    Exit monitoring is a hot feature you need to add.
    To increase the conversion rate, some sites are monitoring the user's mouse/navigation behavior. When the user does the movment to exit the site, the chat window will open with some message to retain the user like the modal popups in http://exitmonitor.com/

    Although this is a good idea, it’s not something we are planning on doing in the near future as that is a completely different area of Visitor retention. And, as you pointed out, there are currently services offering such functionality which you could combine with our Widget.
