    Can I have a feature of asking questions from the user on 1 click?

    Example: http://www.premiumsoftwares.com is my website. Herein, when a visitor comes in and ask for a web design package, can we send them questions in between of the chat.

    Visitor: I need a website for my company
    Agent: What kind of website are you looking at?

    Visitor: Where can I call you?

    Our product is not designed to do this. You van try using Google Admin Console for this but there are other tools made specifically for this.

    The problem with sensitive information like email or phone number, is that you can make all the validations in the world but if the Visitor does not want to provide their exact and accurate details, there is no way for us to force them to do it.

    Hi there dear tawker,

    We understand the need for such limitations for number but in reality, if a Visitor doesn’t want to enter a real number, they won’t. So, instead of making them enter a number in a specific format, we allow them to enter what they want.

    This lowers the frustration level when a Visitor decides to start a conversation with you but is not ready to share sensitive information yet.

  5. No "checking in from Tawk.to" emails for new users

    After a new user registered there is this auto send mail from tawk.to. There is currently now way to disable these mails. Please make that possible :).

    These messages answer common questions that people have and so far we have had a very positive response to them. So, for now we are not planning on disabling them. (:

  6. enable ring tones/sound notifications when I'm on a call. It's causing me to miss messages.

    Right now, it makes a sound and notifies me if I'm not on the phone. But if I'm on a call, it doesn't make any sounds with the notification.

    There is no way we can change notification settings while you are on a call because that is specified by the OS.

    These are 2 distinctly different functionalities that is why they are kept separate. But thank you for worrying about the cleanliness of the use forum!

  8. A VERY basic Chat Modul for Agents

    A VERY basic Chat Modul for Agents which allows them only to Chat to the visitors completely without confusing menus, stats, ticket System. Just to Chat with the visitors.

    For Commercial use the possibility to deactivate the emojies is indispensable.

    Possibility to completely deactivate the ticket System if not needed.

    tawk.to is an agent centric messaging application, so we won’t be scaling down versions for your specific agents.

    We may offer granular permissions in the future for specific Properties however, though the dashboard will remain the same.

    Should have an option to reply to their email. Instead of converting every open chat to a ticket. we can reply to offline open chat which can be received by the visitor to via their email.

    We understand you wanting to contact Visitors directly via email but we are not allowed to provide exportable emails because they can be used for marketing purposes to which they have not given consent.

  13. let chat transcript being sent out when chat is in progress...

    ... instead of being sent out only when chat is closed.
    Or at least, let the client know that the transcript will be sent out on chat closure. A bit of rephrasing the "send" button by something else...
    At the moment this is confusing, as nothing is sent when an email address is typed in, in the transcript section, even if the "send" button is pressed.

    Until we can detect that it’s the same visitor he will be treated as same.

    In other case any person can enter same email, so it won’t be good to show him as same visitor when he isn’t.

    The registration through widget is not in our plans at the moment.

    At the moment we do not have plans to create something like sign in form (with password) in widget.

    For security reasons you can have conversation via email or social network, so fake visitor won’t have chance to see sensitive information.

    If user didn’t accepted yet or declined, he won’t appear in tawk.to at all, since we have no rights to track him.
    If user accepted he will appear in Monitoring section and be like a normal visitor, so there is no need to log somewhere that he opted-in.

  20. Better ip geolocation implementation.

    I noticed the location of a coworker whos IP is known by me is 80 km off. I think we can use a fix here.
