  2. Chat opens full screen in a lightbox

    Add an icon to open the chat in fullscreen mode as a lightbox popup so it's not blocked by popup blockers.

  3. Issue : js-api onChatStarted not triggered after onChatEnded

    When a visitor ends the chat, but does not choose to begin a new chat or email the transcript, the chat is ended.

    If the supportgiver now decides to send a message, onChatStarted will not be triggered.

    Minor issue, but needs fixing

    Ho there Nick,

    When a Visitor ends the conversations, the sessions is considered as ended and there should be no need to re-start a conversation from Agent side.

    But you can convert the chat into a ticket and send an email to the visitor.

    Hope this helps.

  4. Issue: js-api onChatStarted not triggered by trigger messages

    When a message is shown by a trigger, the onChatStarted function is not triggered.

    I can see the potential in both scenarios tough.

    But in the project I am currently developing, the widget should be shown when a trigger message is posted. (initial = hidden)

    Maybe an extra optional function parameter for onChatStarted could be of some use?

    Thank you for the idea but we don’t consider a Trigger message a started conversation. Only when a human starts a conversation then we consider it.

  5. Ignore Bots

    Ignore all known Bots and crawlers. The know lists are readily available and keeps us from having to ban them as we come across them.

  7. Develop an API for User Verification

    1. Allow sites admin to add custom textbox which users can fill with "support code" strings for verification during the chat session.
    2. Develop an API that push those string to CRM to match the support code filled in the textbox with the one on CRM's database to verify that it is an authentic users and not fraud.

  8. Tawk.to Censor System

    You'd be able to add a swear word or inappropriate content to the list and it'd filter it to check if it was that word and automatically change the 'word' or 'content' in a more professional way and change it to [Content Deleted] or "CENSORED", or even F*** etc.

    Currently we don’t have plans on adding a swear list because then it would only work for one language and we want to support most popular languages.

  9. dynamically create new user

    Hi There

    Your service is awesome and almost exactly what I need.

    I have a template based site where once users subscribe they get a dedicated link that would be www.site.com/desired_name and would love for my subscribers to automatically be subscribed to Tawk and be able to chat without any delay.

    I would like to find out if there is any possibility to dynamically create users where my site could call a web method perhaps or a function in the javascript API passing through the email address and desired qualifying password whereby an account could be created and a confirmation…

  10. Advanced trigger: to fire message if user sent specific word in the message

    I want to specify for example word "where" in this condition - so message should fired if, when user write this word. It would be nice to use regexp there, but it's not necessary. Just match word enough.

    Thank you for the idea but currently our API works only for the Widget and currently don’t have any plans on extending into data retrieval.

  12. Disable Tawk.to when Offline to increase loading speed.

    Would be great to have a way to disable Tawk.to when you're offline. My website is loading 1-2 seconds slower because of Tawk.to, and there is no need for that when you're offline.
    I have also seen a website which uses LiveChat, but let the customers to "click" on it, and then it loads, would have been great to have that as well. - Fast site - happy customer.

  13. Merge users from the same IP adress

    Sometimes it happens that Tawk shows two users from the same IP. In my example is happens when users proceeds to main website and then clicks LOGIN and gets new tab opened with login page.

    If IP of the visitor is the same merge it into one visitor.
    Of course there could be more variables like operating system -> when there are 2 users from one office for example, one user is using Android device and the other - Windows - these users shouldn't be merged (i think).

    We cannot do this as not everyone have a unique IP and most of users share an IP with other people.

  14. Is it possible to add a feature of getting an indication when the person has navigated to another tab or application?

    There is an indication when the person has navigated from the website. But it would be great if we can monitor, if the person has navigated into another tab, browser, application.

    i hate having to be taken to a tawk link to download an attachement. sometimes my computer wont open it because its an external link, and my customers have said the same thing.

    Hi there,
    Can you add avatar feature for users as well?
    So, if the system that uses your chat, which have users' avatars would be able to send avatars with user emails.

  18. Manually be able to change status of visitor

    Mark visitor as active or idle (helpful in non-refresh application, when you want setup activity manually).

    Many ajax based system won't trigger refresh, so it would be nice to have a possibility to trigger activity
