  2. Please add email notifications for incoming chats.

    Some of us need it for older phones and "smart watches". We can also setup "email to SMS" function on our side to make notification even faster.

  3. Make the app run in the background longer and notify us

    Enable the smartphone app to stay logged in in the background and give us notifications when a client starts a chat and also when the app session expires so that we can log back in. It would be nice if it stayed on at least a couple of hours, like 12. Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Hi!
    Android implemented restriction for background work of apps. So tawk.to app works 1 minute when minimized and goes to sleep after.
    The session is still alive and you are still logged in and we send push-notifications for activity on your website: new chats, new visitor and agent messages, new visitor (disabled by default), video-, audio-calls (from addon).

  4. Ability to set chat distance from the edge of the browser

    There should be a posibility to set the distance between the closed chat widnow and an edge of the browser.

  5. Can you set the chat statistics send to the email once a day ?

    The whole chat statistics of the current day send in the end of the day and also can you add the post chat form with satisfaction percentage of the chat ?which might also be send with summary in email.

    Although the idea is good, currently we are not planning on developing such functionality.

  7. Record customer actions

    It will be nice to be able to see customers action on page.
    I mean make tawk record mouse positions and then "play" it on appropriate page. (enable/disable in widget settings)
    Maybe play only 3-5 minutes before customer starts chat.

  9. Pop-up notification when specific customer comes on my site

    For ex. customer didn't left an email or valid email and I need to contact him ASAP. It would be great if there was a pop-ip notification when this specific customer comes online. So there should be a form or filter where I enter customer's login. After I chatted with the customer, I can delete him from that filter

    This is a good idea but the problem is that it’s not 100% reliable to track a user from the limited information we require to run the app.
    You can try using Google Analytics to track specific users.

  10. Redirect user after submitting a message

    In offline mode when a user submits a ticket/form, it would be nice if we have the ability to redirect him to other page.

  11. [Repost] Please give us a choice if the monitoring information is in the sidebar

    I understand you have plans for the sidebar, and this may make it laid out better, but I'd appreciate it if you allowed the user to enable a section on the sidebar for visiting users. I enjoy keeping track of people visiting my website and a sound notification for when someone views the page lets me quickly check if they might need assistance. Even so, if you decide not to add this option (despite the large amount of user backlash), could you at least disable the sleep timeout, so I am still notified of users visiting the site.

The previous version of surfers activity monitor was excellent (and it was very convenient to observe the surfers and to decise, start the dialog or not), but the actial one is awful and it is very inconveniently to start the chat for the support team.

  13. Visitor count at task bar icon's place.

    Like some other populer live support software, seing visitor count at task bar icon would be nice. When there is no visitor, default tawk.to icon may come. So by just looking at task bar icon would be enough to see visitor count.

    When I use the visitor(); to set default name and email, I won't want my customers to be able to edit them.

    Hi there dear tawker,

    This function is used to set a default, unique name value for each Visitor. Visitors are still able to change their name from the Widget options and for Agents the fields are editable because Visitors can enter false data and the Agent should be able to change that data at any given time.

  18. show email address field on property member page.

    when viewing my agent list, there is no email address field. it would be nice to be able to view and possibly edit the email address for one of the agents.

    Hey tawker,

    There is a reason why we don’t show Agent email addresses. Tawk.to is an Agent centric application so the email is a private piece of information. Similar to Facebook, even though you have to use an email to log into Facebook, by viewing a friends page, you cannot see their email.

    Hope this explains our reasoning.

  19. Display users by email address (in addition to name)

    It would be helpful to have property members display with their email addresses next to their names (in the event that they set their name to something unfamiliar, or dissimilar to their email address).
