  1. Pre chat form after trigger

    I have pre chat form and trigger both on my chat widget. But the problem is after trigger is fired and displayed my message to visitors, there is no chat form displayed and user can directly chat with us.

    Please change it so that user have to fill pre chat form even if any trigger is already called to display message to visitors.

    We have released new design for the tawk,to chat widget.
    With it user will be required to fill data into Pre-chat form, after he received welcoming trigger message and opens the chat widget.

  2. Create a Zappier App

    Simply put, Zapier lets you easily connect the web apps you use, making it easy to automate tedious tasks. --

    I use it for simple things, like Retweeting a company post to various locations as me, or another twitter user.

    We (users of tawk) could use it to do things such as:
    Create MailChimp Subscriber from Tawk
    Create Zoho, SugarCRM or Salesforce CRM Lead from Tawk Transcript
    Create Tweet from each new chat session (such as "We're helping Someone right now. #NeedAssistance - #JustTawk http://shor.url/forsupport"

    Zappier works off hooks and API's, which you guys know better than us :)…

  3. Make it possible to add custom hours in Scheduler. Or add more pre-made ones.

    That would be great for lunch times. We keep our support closed half an hour a day. And I'm betting we will forget to turn the chat off.

    Like 11:00-12:00 or 11:30 - 12:00. Just some options :)

    We have updated Scheduler feature to allow adding more custom hours.

    Go to Admin – Scheduler – on right side of current time selection click on plus button to add new time selection.

  4. Detect page title change for single page applications, for frameworks like angularjs, emberjs

    When embedding tawk.to into a single page application, as the user navigates between pages, these are not recorded as there is no page load.
    The widget of course remains on the page, which is good, and can be controlled via API. There is no (documented?) way to notify tawk.to that the user navigated to another page in the single page app.

    A simple API call like
    Tawk_API.newUrl("https://whatever.com")
    would allow a single page app to transmit this information to the widget.

  5. API for identifiyng users

    If you see thing like V12542562454 you don't know who's this. If you know the username on server (example in $SESSION), you will be able to customize script, and you will not see just V213213104 but you will see the username. For example, your page will set this JavaScript:

  6. Multiple Agents joining chats at once

    Ok so the issue i'm finding with the website i work for is when someone requests support and multiple agents join at once. It would be good if it gives you a prompt window asking whether you wish to join as another agent is dealing with the chat
    As we now have people saying our company is un-organised

    When chat is already taken other agent will see confirmation notice before he can join the chat.

    Any agent can join already joined chat: other agent might help first one in answering question or retake chat, if first agent had power interruption or he need to leave.

  7. Mobile and Desktop widget independent positioning

    It was nice if it were possible for example to have the chat widget in the bottom on the desktop, and for example on the right side on the mobile

    You can now set the position of the chat widget on a mobile device.

    Follow these steps to change the appearance of the chat widget:

    1. Click the Administration cog in the lower-left corner of your dashboard.
    2. Select Chat Widget.
    3. Under Widget Appearance, select Advanced.
    4. Under Mobile Widget, select your preferred Mobile Widget Position.

  8. Export / Download reports with excel or csv

    there should be a way to create report and export to a file them as this is important for customer service managers

  10. Support Ticket System By Tawk would be awesome!

    Since the live chat works like a charm and it is a brilliant solution for Opencart users, i suggest that if you can create a ticket system too it would be a great help for many users, one account for everything!

  11. change the icon of the mobile widget!

    Please let us choose the shape of the icon on our mobile widget. I had a nice rectangle shape and with the new update this is changed into a text bubble which takes up more space! I do not like this new icon and I cannot change it, please let us choose!

    We have updated the widget today, stylized, resized and changed the icon, as well as loading the chat above your site, as opposed to pushing the visitor to a separate tab as it did before.

  12. Pay subscription for Customizing or Logo Branding

    First of all Thank you for such a great service to humanity.I am not curious why it is free but I am curious to know how do you operate and handle all queries so actively everyday. Anyways, just a small suggestion if I could share is about customization or logo branding from the user side charging them a small yearly subscription fee would be great.

    The Rebanding Add-on is now available, you can login to the dashboard and rebrand the widget with your own brand and link. Check the Admin section, under Add-ons.

  13. go conform with European privacy and data protection regulations

    Sadly, the use of tawk.to within the the EU is not really legal, due to privacy and data protection concerns.
    Lawyers and business advocates are telling us, we should stop using tawk - if we come across the wrong customer we could end up in legal trouble.
    Fix this plz!

  15. Actual dates on chats instead of "14 days ago," etc.

    Currently, chats are dated by the length of time between now and when the chat happend.

    Ex: 14 days ago, 23 days ago, etc.

    Would be more helpful and efficient to have the exact date of a chat.

    Ex: May 5th, 2015 or 05/15/15, etc.

  17. Create Software For Mac & Windows

    Create a downloadable exe and dmg so users can open your application without going on the website. You will have to make the window into an application and make sure cookies don't expire for a long time. It would be awesome!

  18. Add voice chat/calling feature

    I know it isn't far fetched but definitely would need a bit of planning, but tethering in some sort of voice chat/calling feature. There are many web based voice chats on the rise, and I figured that this would be the next great step in customer service.

    I already have numbers from google voice that I use with my website, and it would prove beneficial to have tawk.to tethered to it. Maybe to track stats? Calls? Either way, it would cut down on the bulk of using several different [unreliable] services like google voice.

    We have released new options under Widget Settings, including requested ’Disable file upload`.

    Those options could be found in Admin – select required asset (widget) – Widget Settings.

  20. Support WebHooks so that we can set up integrations with other systems.

    GIVEN that a visitor wants to chat to us
    WHEN the visitor starts to chat
    THEN a we are notified that someone is attempting to communicate with us in HipChat

    This could easily be achieved with WebHooks.
