Enable users to change font type and size on the chat Widget
It would be cool to be able to change the font type and size on the chat Widget. Sometimes I want the widget to look smaller. I can change the size of the dimensions in the "Widget Appearance", but the "Minimized Height" can't be less than 40 at the moment.
To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for sharing your question here. The widget size can be modified if you choose to have the 'rectangular shape' as your chat widget. You can also change the message that appears on the minimized chat widget in the Widget Content settings and even modify how sharp the edges appear. Font and other size features of the chat widget have already been submitted to our engineers. Your request is acknowledged and updates will be posted once the feature has been implemented. If you have any other questions, require assistance, or just want to talk to someone at tawk.to, here is our calendar link: https://calendly.com/tawk-to-support/tawk-to-customer-support. We're happy to help!
Thank you for sharing this useful information with me https://modtodo.com/

Thanks for the great suggestion. I think the default font should be Roboto. The font Lato did not support a few languages Characters. You can check my site here to see some fallback when displaying Vietnamese texts.
you can find what you need at our website https://apktodo.com/vi/

Font size and type editing has never been so simple. I have used and experienced and it is easy with Instagram Schrift Tool: https://instazoom.mobi/instagram-schrift/

The current widget downloads (at least) two Google web fonts, which adds to the overhead for page loading speed. A better approach would be to use the system font stack.
font-family: -apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,"Segoe UI",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif,"Apple Color Emoji","Segoe UI Emoji";
Also, this suggestion has been open over 4 years :-/

Hello, dear tawk.to,
I really like your chat widget and I am using it in my site, though there is some imperfection which really bothers me.
In my native language are some symbols and letters that current font of Tawk.to widget can not replicate properly, so my suggestion is to make the possibility to choose different fonts for the text (including buttons and etc.) in the widget.
Middle Eastern languages are really difficult for Asians.
As our website uses Vietnamese.
Its very good, If we can upload and use favorite font on the chat widget.

I just spent this morning trying to figure out how to do this, to discover its not possible. My website is designed to look like a whiteboard. To that end I use a mix of Permanent Marker & Noteworthy fonts to achieve this. To customise my tawk-to fonts would create a slick and seemless integration for user experience.
Can you give option to used default font of website or arial. we are trying to reduce no of requests.
if you are looking for business registration then you can contact me also make sure to check my website

Both are not readable in Middle Eastern languages.
But the need to modify the widget on the front page is important for agents.
You can see the difference in this image as shown below.
You can use free font and better open source for Arabic, Persian and Middle Eastern writing.
like this font:
Hundreds of millions of contacts will thank you for making it possible to use custom fonts.
After this encouragement from you;
To improve the new case, I will come up with a precise edit for right-to-left principles like LiveChatCrisp!
Enable people to change the font size while chatting. Also have an option to delete or edit the text as sometimes there can be typo error or we may write something inadvertently which we may want to delete later
