Get notified right when a customer opens a chat window
Right now it appears the only options for notifications are:
1) When a customer visits the page, which would send me far too many notifications from people who never try to chat, or
2) When the first message is sent, which by definition means that any time I spend picking up my phone and entering the app is time that the user is waiting for a response.
It would be much more useful to get a notification right when the chat window is first opened, so I could start preparing to respond. Shaving even a couple seconds off that initial response time would improve customer satisfaction immensely.
