Provide (optional) send button in chat widget
Hard to believe but a lot of people don't understand that they have to press enter after typing a message. For those oldies an obvious "send message" button would be a good addition, so that chats don't die before they started... possibly optional.

We are just about to launch a new messaging area design that includes a send button.
ETA is about 10 days! :)
