For example, you can trigger a specific action in Slack when a chat ends, when a new chat starts, or when a new ticket is created.

Dear Admin, it seems you don't know Slack or you don't understand the users need. We like many other companies use Slack and we love it. It makes no sense to have many other tools with redundant or duplicate features. Thus, an integration between Tawk-to and Slack makes total sense from a users perspective. I would like to have all communication in one place and not in dozens of apps.
We would find this really helpful to communicate tawk to conversations to our whole team.

+1 for integration support. Slack is, in many respects, a tawk.to competitor. Understood. And you (tawk.to) are worried, if you provide integration, it will make it harder for you to get tawk.to users to convert to your Slack-like features when you release them. But your Slack-like features will need to be better than Slack to get users to convert in any case. So... Why don't you offer Slack integration ASAP, keep the users you have now for which this is a dealbreaker feature (like me), gain the users who are turning away from tawk.to because of no Slack integration, then, when your Slack-like features are ready, make the case for your "better than Slack" offer on its merits?

A Slack integration wouldn't necessarily mean a Tawk chat inside Slack.
It could be a notification when a user opens the chat widget.
Or a notification when the chat opens in the morning.
Something to remind us if nobody on the team is currently logged in to the Tawk dashboard.

I am considering using tawk.to, but slack integration may bring this software out of consideration. Our company uses slack for everything. However, we do like your screenconnect integration so your product is still in consideration for that integration. If it also had slack integration it would be a perfect match.
There are other customer service tools (messaging platform) that are integration with slack. Maybe you should revisit this.
Seems like a lot of people want the slack integration. For companies like mine that are already chatting inter-office with slack, It would be great to be able to add tawk.to for our customer website chat into slack. Instead of having to use 2 different platforms, it all funnels into one. If you don't want to reconsider I'm sure people will follow my lead and use another service that already integrates with slack, like chatkwik or happyfoxchat.

I can understand the desire to focus on integrating with eCommerce and CMS solutions. That should be number one. However, the ability to route things through slack for the agents would be a huge advantage. I would suggest taking this solution and putting it on the backburner rather than declining it altogether.
