I know some apps use the screensaver as an online/offline trigger. When the screensaver activates, the app goes to AWAY. Chats can still be accepted on the desktop and mobile apps, but the visitor is notified that the agent is away.
detect if i'm active: if yes, make status:"ONLINE" if nom make status: "AWAY" YES // but what if i'm not in admin panel or on another webpage?
it would be great if the system automatically set our status to away when we don't make anything on computer for a period of time (for example 10 minutes). Sometimes we forgot to set our status as away when we left the computer for a coffee etc.. and this function could help us.
like zopim have. it is great for when i walk away from my desk and forget to set my status as away
It would be great if the online status changes as soon as the screensaver kicks in on the computer, or a predetermined idle time that triggers the away message.
The Away status should then convert to an email form, rather than still having the ability to initiate a chat.
Yes this is a good idea, auto away/invisible if there's no activity at the computer for a configurable number of minutes

Automatically determine if an agent is away much like other IM systems do
Show Away message if an agent logged in but away from system. Like the agent is went to have a tea or pee :)
