Pre chat form after trigger
I have pre chat form and trigger both on my chat widget. But the problem is after trigger is fired and displayed my message to visitors, there is no chat form displayed and user can directly chat with us.
Please change it so that user have to fill pre chat form even if any trigger is already called to display message to visitors.
We have released new design for the tawk,to chat widget.
With it user will be required to fill data into Pre-chat form, after he received welcoming trigger message and opens the chat widget.
I want the same functionality. I want a trigger to maximize the chat widget saying "hey im here if you need any help" and then the user must fill out a pre-chat form before typing their first message. pls make it happen!

Definitely need this. People respond well to the triggers on our site, but we don't get customer contact info, and also get some spam. Having a pre-chat form on triggers would really help us filter out spammy users.
Need this or I have to go back to previous chat service
agree that without capability of capturing email, basic trigger is not much useful.

I agree with both my hands and both my legs - trigger without option to add pre-chat form is useles.

We just put on triggers. Quickly realized we need some kind of email capture. +1 for needed on triggers.

Please add this asap otherwise the trigger is just useless.
okay to add one more. best to pre chat every chat also the chat being initiated by the support team. at the moment the pre chat form is not used when support team started the chat. this could be an optional button or a snippet "add your email address"

Hello, we are going to be completely revamping the triggers system and once we do the pre-chat form will work with triggers. I don't currently have a timeline for this however.

show pre chat when using Triggers, to always react on the message. At the moment only Triggers or per Chat.
There should be an option to make Pre-Chat form mandatory before any chat begins. If we enable that option, all chats from user end - whether begun through a trigger or by clicking on the widget, or when the agents are online or offline - should begin with a Pre-Chat form.
If trigger is used like Welcome to company ping us if you need help and a visitor has text but no reply has received he or she has disconnected the chat. So agent cant able to track them again its better if a email input is pompted once he has typed on chat.
Trigger over ride the prechat form and visitors directly livechat without leaving email and name, which is big waste for business point of view.
