Pre chat form after trigger
I have pre chat form and trigger both on my chat widget. But the problem is after trigger is fired and displayed my message to visitors, there is no chat form displayed and user can directly chat with us.
Please change it so that user have to fill pre chat form even if any trigger is already called to display message to visitors.
We have released new design for the tawk,to chat widget.
With it user will be required to fill data into Pre-chat form, after he received welcoming trigger message and opens the chat widget.
I just posted this same feature request. Pre-chat forms need to be persistent across ALL chats, so that no matter how a chat starts (customer invoked or trigger invoked from business side) the customer must fill out the pre-chat form. The pre-chat form is pretty pointless if it only happens sometimes.
We difinitely need a way to grab leads email after a trigger.
If an agent doesnt respond right away to have a message saying "Hey! We can't answer right now please enter your email so we can reply to you asap!" Then they type their email in a box, and it saves it in the email section of the user.

Essential feature, all my votes go to this one. I had to disable all my auto open triggers, because I ended up with a lots of missed chats without any sort of contact
I think Triggers function does not override Pre-chat form is better
name change option for the user is not present in the chat widget, previously it was there.
this is a very important feature the I need also,
This feature is a must or we lose lots of potential leads.
Desperate for this since we only end up with a string of numbers which is useless.
Also means asking for their name before the chat starts since we don't have it from the start.
Despite having added a form to our chat, over 95% of our chats start from the triggers.
This is not possible with triggers
Yes, this is a much needed feature. I've just setup triggers and now I'm going to remove them because they lack the prechat form functions.

Yes, it seems this should be characterized as a bug, not an improvement. A bug, because I am not informed in the settings as an Admin that prechat form (which is set ON) will not be used when a trigger activates. It took me a long time to realize this was happening. I want ON to be ON for prechat form - always use prechat form whether a trigger happens or not.
it is urgent plz do and many chat tools have done
or make the chat pop out with the preform chat
When the trigger comes out, there will be a button that says Start Chat or Chat Now and then the prechat form will come out.
I have a trigger in place with a welcome message. If my visitors reply to that chat and I miss them, I have no way of talking to them again. Please have the option of pre-chat form always being available.
I really enjoy Tawk to, so first of all, thank you.
But it will be a great help to be able to have a trigger (such as the chat popping) and a pre form chat at the same time.
Im losing people who are talking while im doing something else and the pop up message isn t always working correctly.
Having at leeast their email would be a great help.

This is very needed for me makes if very hard for my agents to move between chats and to followup afterwards if there is no contact info because the chat was initiated by a trigger.
Prevent triggers from override Pre-Chat. Maybe via configuration to give admin the option.
Now if you configure a pre-chat form and a trigger, the trigger bypass the pre-char :-(
