  3. Automatically Send Chat Transcript

    We use the Tawk on our website and on webpages customers can view quotes, We would like to be able to automatically save the transcripts and if possible send them over a webhook with the customers email (inputted when starting the chat) so we can integrate it into our CRM.

  4. Bad word filter or at least have them turn into *****

    A bad word Filter option would really benefit this chat system, allowing me to ban certain words or at least have them turn into ***** these?

  5. Browser plugin for notifications & quick access

    Hi team,

    As of now in order to get live notifications about the new visitors, we need to either log in to the dashboard or have the app installed.

    It's not always possible to have either of them (some companies won't allow phones at the workplace, some may have trouble working with multiple browser tabs due to performance issues). I belong to the second category, not always possible to keep Tawk dashboard tab open on my browser.

    We recently solved a similar problem for our SaaS app by publishing a browser plugin, which will notify the customer about the events…

  6. Saving phone number

    We would like to have the possibility to save visitor's phone number when it has not been requested in the pre-chat form. Many visitors give the phone no only after some chat time. We want to connect the visitor's name with email address and phone. Some don't even have an email address so for us the phone no is very important!

    Automation is a feature on our product roadmap. Our engineers are working on this feature and updates will be posted once it has been implemented.

  11. An option to do a chat form AFTER a chat has started - instead of PRE CHAT

    We have realized we lose a LOT of chat requests because people do not want to give the email and name prior to starting a conversation. We disable the pre chat form and we get twice or 3x the amount of live chats but now we do not have the customers information. I have noticed MANY other chat clients use a feature where you can start talking - then they have a section on top or in the chat for the customer to add their email or name if they want to.   12. Show map location when chating with visitor

    The same tab information of map location of visitor should be show in the window while chating with a user.
    Maybe use the same tab structure to show more data about visitor.

  13. Support for Google Tag Manager

    Being able to use Google Tag Manager with Tawk would eliminate the need to do a lot of new features to the product. You can run any number of scripts through GTM like Google Analytics (or any other kind of analytics), usability testing, conversion tracking, etc. This will certainly cut down on the requests and free you guys up to do other things. It's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

  14. Optional chat preview

    We have had some negative reactions to the «preview»-function in the chat window. Turns out our customers aren't too happy about psychic agents.

    For now we have solved this issue by adding a text in the chat window: "Please note that in order to provide the best possible service, we can see what you write before you press the send button"
    We believe this is not the best way to gain our customers trust, and we are afraid many will avoid chatting because of this.

  15. Allow notifications to be setup per site

    App notifications are setup individually... I suggest chat notifications should be as well instead of lumping them all together in the settings under one. I monitor many sites and many are very busy and some are new. The busy ones I don’t want any notifications yet the new ones I want notifications for every visitor etc. adding this ability would be helpful

  17. Add chat button to email copy

    Most live chat services provide you with the code to embed a chat button inside an email copy. This is very powerful in an email marketing campaign, as well as for personal emails, enabling the client to respond to an email straight away by engaging in a live chat.

    It's not too complicated to implement and I would be happy to provide technical details from other services I've used.

  18. Export Ticket History

    Would be great to be able to export all of the ticket history to a usable file such as CSV or JSON to be used for other purposes.

    For instance one of our clients wants to be able to review the tickets their staff has opened and currently we have no way to do this, without hours of copy/paste

  19. Display trigger message on mobile = getting more attention

    Modern chat services has an option for display trigger message on mobile. This service has, but does not show full message like in full screen mode, it shows icon with number of trigger messages, and you need to click on it for the full message. This doesn't attract attention like in the full screen mode.

    I was wondering is there a possibility to display trigger on mobile and tablet not only in fullscreen mode?

    This could be done as part of trigger where you can find the button to activate this option while setting the trigger or in the chat…

    We have changed the way the mobile widget behaves regarding Trigger messages.

    The Trigger message will work on mobile but instead of a pop-up message, it will now have a little red number 1, or 2 that will appear on the chat widget. The same way it does when you receive a text message.

  20. Auto logoff when idle for a set amount of time

    So many tawk.to users are lacking this feature. Please add it!
    There is no point in coding the best live help chat if you don't add this feature.
    Operators are missing chats because they forget to switch off and users get really angry!
