  1. Pre chat form after trigger

    I have pre chat form and trigger both on my chat widget. But the problem is after trigger is fired and displayed my message to visitors, there is no chat form displayed and user can directly chat with us.

    Please change it so that user have to fill pre chat form even if any trigger is already called to display message to visitors.

    Hi!
    We have released new design for the tawk,to chat widget.
    With it user will be required to fill data into Pre-chat form, after he received welcoming trigger message and opens the chat widget.

  2. Make it possible to add custom hours in Scheduler. Or add more pre-made ones.

    That would be great for lunch times. We keep our support closed half an hour a day. And I'm betting we will forget to turn the chat off.

    Like 11:00-12:00 or 11:30 - 12:00. Just some options :)

    Hi!
    We have updated Scheduler feature to allow adding more custom hours.

    Go to Admin – Scheduler – on right side of current time selection click on plus button to add new time selection.

  3. Detect page title change for single page applications, for frameworks like angularjs, emberjs

    When embedding tawk.to into a single page application, as the user navigates between pages, these are not recorded as there is no page load.
    The widget of course remains on the page, which is good, and can be controlled via API. There is no (documented?) way to notify tawk.to that the user navigated to another page in the single page app.

    A simple API call like
    Tawk_API.newUrl("https://whatever.com")
    would allow a single page app to transmit this information to the widget.

  4. go conform with European privacy and data protection regulations

    Sadly, the use of tawk.to within the the EU is not really legal, due to privacy and data protection concerns.
    Lawyers and business advocates are telling us, we should stop using tawk - if we come across the wrong customer we could end up in legal trouble.
    Fix this plz!

  5. An option to disable 'Email Transcripts' for visitors

    Please consider this, if the business wants then they can disable the email transcript option for visitors so that they can customize the chat widget according to their preference, and also customize what the visitor can request and what they cannot.

    You can now enjoy the chat widget’s new look and features. This includes disabling the Email Transcript for visitors.

    “Disable email transcript” allows tawk.to admins to disable the feature allowing visitors to email themselves a transcript of the conversation after a chat has ended.

    To activate this feature, follow the steps below:

    1. Click the Administration cog in the lower-left corner of your dashboard.
    2. Select Chat Widget.
    3. Under Widget Appearance, toggle on Disable email transcript.

  6. Option to hide the typing preview

    We really need an option to hide the typing preview.
    [typing...] is okay, but in many countries it is not legal to show their typed text before it is sent.

  8. Trigger should open chat box

    because your old design doesn't open chat automatically , although applying trigger message,

    new design only trigger message , not whole chatbox with trigger message

    We have released new options under Widget Settings, including requested ’Disable message preview`.
    Those options could be found in Admin – select required asset (widget) – Widget Settings.

    This option will disable current message preview above the widget and on message from trigger or an agent will maximize chat.

    Please note that if you have enabled Pre-chat form, visitor will be required to fill it or skip (if all fields are non-required) first, before he can view chat messages.

  9. More Modern Chat Window

    Would it be possible to have a more modern chat window design like Live Chat / Formilla they're a lot more modern and I think the only thing missing with Tawk To really from hammering them all :)

  10. Stop using document.write()

    When you use document.write() to inject a script, the browser is not able to continue parsing the HTML. The web browser is forced to wait for the resource to load AND to be executed.

  11. Push Notifications to Phones for new chats (while app is closed)

    Can it be set up so that within the scheduled hours we can get a push notification to the phone apps?

    I don't want to always have it open but am often able to answer questions.

    Maybe if nobody picks it up within a certain time frame (settable) it gets them to leave a message

    In case of Android mobile app:
    -——————————-
    ​Some brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, Asus, Oppo and several others are fully blocking application in background not allowing to start apps notification receiver service. Until the app is not swiped away from “Recent apps” they will come or by enabling background work for the app.
    Also some management apps can suppress push-notification, for example “Clean Master” app. Ensure that tawk.to is not blocked by such apps.

    Should not be a problem of iOS apps, but in case it happens – please use “Report a bug” from app settings and add message about this problem

  12. Mobile icon also on desktop

    I like mobile icons more than desktop version of chat. I'd like to set icon for desktop version because it is more compact.

  14. Live chat box on mobile devices - appearance

    we would really like it if the chat box would appear the same across both desktop and mobile devices. Ideally not to take up the entire screen on mobiles and ipad etc. it is not as user friendly - better to have it in bottom right of screen.

  15. Provide a "bubble" also for chat balloon.

    Currently, the bubble is only available for the bar. It would be interesting to have her in the bubble too.

    A function allowing to exclude my IP when I am on my site or on my WP admin interface. Thus, no impromptu and unnecessary notifications to agents and other administrators.

  17. When the chat ends, the user should be able to select a new department

    Now once the user select the department in the pre form, that information is saved in the browser session and never is deleted. So the user always remains chatting in the same department.
    The idea is when the chat ends the user should be able to select again the department.

    The chat window closes straight away, the chat window should ask if the person would like an email of the transcript before it closes. (10 sec timer)

    Hi!
    User can request for transcript to be emailed when chat will end and convert to history-chat while chat is ongoing and after.
    If he manually ended a chat he can maximize the widget again and use “Email transcript” feature.

  20. Allow the Widget to be Always-ON

    I talked to a few people from Support about this and it seemed like they thought I was crazy...

    I thought the whole point of having the tawk.to mobile app was so that we could respond to any message as soon as it is received, even after hours? As of right now, we have to remain logged into the dashboard for our widget to appear "online." If that's the case, what's the point of having the app? And what's the point of having a scheduler?
