we need the repeat forever sound alert for new chats, just like your web app already has please.4 votes
In latest release 1.4.3 (pushed today) we changed repeat option to repeat forever until notification is seen by user. Also supported in Android 8 (Oreo).
Option by default is disabled, to change it go to Settings > Configure alerts.
In tawk.to app below Android Oreo (8.0) it is possible to set “repeat” till 20 times, maybe will be enough to notice the event.
From Oreo version user is in control of notifications settings (sounds, vibro, lights etc.), but there is no “repeat” option at all.
If this request will be demanded we will search for a way to notify users instead or in addition to simple notification.

We implemented Tabs support in the mobile apps, including the Knowledge base.
Tabs will appear in visitors (ongoing) chats, history chats and tickets.
At the moment, Tabs can be configured in the web-dashboard.

Indonesian languages is completed by half by our users. If you wish you can also participate in translating tawk.to app:

Seems “Ring tone” should open sound selection.
We have no control over Oreo notifications settings, they depend on how they are done in Android version and how device manufacturer will implement interface for them.
We only create notification groups required for the app (Visitor chat, Agent chat, New visitor and others) and set initial values of sound, vibration, priority and other settings.
