  1. Email transcript to visitor

    At the moment, the email transcript function is available but hidden. You have no idea how many visitors request that they be sent chat transcripts. Please check Siteground support chat - I think they do it right. When the visitor closes the chat window, transcript email option is shown, with prefilled (but editable) email address if it was collected via prechat form. Similarly, Tawk should also show a transcript email page when the visitor clicks X to close/minimize the window. Whether the chat has finished or not at that point is an academic debate.

  3. New Chat Window Design

    Wondering if you have plans to update your design for the chat widgets? It looks plain, kind of outdated compared to others like Intercom, Drift, Olark, Zendesk, Influx.

    The end-user chat window looks outdated. Others' chat systems look sleek, clean, nice user interface and customizable. Also, even the chat widget icons are pretty hideous.

    Look, no borders, no headers on the expanded window? This makes no sense and just ugly. Poor font style, cramped line height.

  7. Enable people to change the font size while chatting

    Enable people to change the font size while chatting. Also have an option to delete or edit the text as sometimes there can be typo error or we may write something inadvertently which we may want to delete later

  8. Department Chat Volume Count Option has disappeared in reporting!!!

    Please make sure to bring back the old department volume count back. Its very important. How would an organization keep the records and work on their future efficiency. This feature was available couple of weeks back. So i think it would not be hard to bring back the old script.
    I request the fellow tawk developers to look into this matter and bring back the volume count for department heads as well.

    Widget should be positioned by user or there could be more widget option. For example ı want to position my widget a litle higher of right bottom but there is no choice for that

  13. API or Timer - to set status

    Presence management needs improvement, so we don't have missed chats.

    How about a API that allows setting of Agent status (away, online)
    or better yet.

    the desktop client set status to Away after a certain amount of time when no activity by user (keyboard / mouse)

    The Agent image shown for Triggers is very small - hard to see what you're looking at - especially if you use a real photo. I suggest it is larger or the size is customizable.

  20. pre-chat window - mail or phone obligatory, before continue to chat

    to be sure, to be able to contact a client after the chat, so potentially turn a chat into a ticket, please add the option that either phone or mail needs to be filled out, to continue to the chat.
