    Shortcuts can be configured as either Public or Personal Shortcuts.

    All Public Shortcuts add to a property are available to be used by all agents with access to that property. A Personal Shortcut is added in a Personal Profile and can only be used in the account associated with that profile.

    These are the answers to your questions/suggestions:

    1. Option to only allow agents to join as their alias.

    Answer: At the moment, all agents/admins can create their own aliases. They now have the option to answer chats using their real name or an alias.
    You can protect your identity by creating a new alias the customer sees when you respond to chats.

    2. Option to only allow admins to remove history.

    Answer: Agents don’t have the authority to delete chat history.

    Agree with Dave... this should not be an option there should be no reason there should be private conversations with support tickets/chats... If you need semi private create departments and assign certain people into those departments then only admins should be able to view all history etc

    We thank you and appreciate the patience and continued support over the years.

    As per our development team, we are waiting to roll out a huge update to the architecture of the software in order for this feature to release. As you can appreciate, unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan, and other product launches need to be prioritized for the sake of progress.

    Rest assured, this has already been raised and the update is currently in progress. We will post updates once the feature has been approved and implemented.

    At the moment, we don’t have the option to set the widget’s status to offline/online independently of agent status and the Scheduler.

    You can manually disable the Scheduler so it stays online all the time. However, any previously set schedule will then revert to the default schedule. When you are ready to reactivate your scheduler, you will have to configure it again.

    Your request has been acknowledged and updates will be posted once the feature has been approved and implemented.
