To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for sharing your question here. This function is currently available in your tawk.to Dashboard. The ‘Disable browser tab notification’ setting stops alerts from showing up in the page title of your browser. Follow the steps below to enable these settings: 1. Administration tab > Chat Widget 2. Notification Settings > toggle the ‘Disable browser tab notification’ to the on position If you have any other questions, require assistance, or just want to talk to someone at tawk.to, here is our calendar link: https://calendly.com/tawk-to-support/tawk-to-customer-support. We're happy to help!

    As @Matt has said,
    '''
I have noticed that every visitor to our site get the 'New Message' browser tab notification after a few minutes. It would be great to have an option to disable browser tab notifications for trigger messages so the only people that get the browser tab notification are the guests currently engaged in an active chat with the agent.
    '''
I have this problem too. But I'd like it to be more customizable than that. For each trigger, I would like the option to disable Title modification. This matters especially, when a welcome message and a prechat form are used. In this case, the only way the visitor can get rid of the flashing title is to fill out the form. We really don't want that.
I am going to create a new feature request around this problem called "Disable dynamic title for each trigger".

To All Our Valued Users, , This is Sienna from tawk.to. Thank you for reaching out. At this stage, we only have the Pre-Chat Form to get the details of the visitor before the chat. An alternative method is to create a Trigger message asking for their information. You can also create Shortcuts or canned responses for repetitive questions visitors ask. Setting up Shortcuts saves you time and keeps your responses accurate and consistent. This also ensures that your spelling and grammar are correct. We've acknowledged your request and have forwarded it to the dev team. They will work with this suggestion and will add the feature in due course. If you have any other questions, require assistance, or just want to talk to someone at tawk.to, here is our calendar link: https://calendly.com/tawk-to-support/tawk-to-customer-support. I would love this. Triggering multiple choice questions mid-chat and storing those values for other triggers would be extremely powerful.

    Hi!
If the pre-chat form was filled by user, it will remain until visitor session is not ended – if he reopens the ongoing chat session.
If user return after session ended and by cookies he is recognized as same user – his pre-chat form will be filled with name, email, phone, but other fields like department, message input, multiple choice answer – cleared.

Department should be treated differently from other prechat information because it is not a static value. There should at least be an option to make it always ask for the department again.

    Hi!

Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for sharing your ideas with us.

As of the moment, our Scheduler allows you to set the days and times the widget is active on your Property.

The ability to set schedules for individual agents is currently not available.

Your request has been acknowledged and updates will be posted once the feature has been approved and implemented.

If you have any other questions or require assistance, we invite you to reach out on our 24/7 support line. Our live agents are always available to assist you.

Alternatively, you can reach me here at nicola.mangulabnan@tawk.to

100%. We need this. Other live chat apps have per agent scheduling.
    Even better:
I'd also like the schedule to have granular rules or even temporary prescheduled logouts. For example, if I know I'm going to have lunch today from 1-1:30pm, then I can set it in advance while it's on my mind to make me unavailable after 1pm. Once I get back, I can set myself as available again.
