  1. please add a padding option or css edit

    tawk chat is a great and useful plugin... but! it's must have a padding and margin options most of the users in this plugin is a website builder so it's will be wonderful if tawk add this option

    At this stage, we do not have a feature allowing users to adjust the widget padding or edit the widget using CSS.

  2. Add keyword field in knowledge base.

    It would be nice to have a section for keywords on articles of the Knowledge base. This way, the users could get find more easily the article for theire problem. I have find that some time, the article doesnt always containt the word that some would shearch for.

  3. split messages on desktop like on mobile

    There is a difference in the way the chat looks between mobile and desktop use. On the mobile, the chat is splitted every time the user presses enter. On the pc, it look like one big message.

    We would like to see the display on the chat like on mobile, so it is easy to get an overview over, when the user have added something later to their message.

    It have recently lead to a minor misunderstanding between the user and our support team :-)

    Is there any way to remove Message your customers with tawto it's free?

    This is un-necessary for my customers.

  6. Be able to set a list of keyword or phrases to triggers

    In current situation, I can set a keyword that will activate a trigger. If I want 2 keywords, I have to create 2 triggers, and that easily makes going to 20 trigger limit. We should be able for one trigger set a list of keywords or phrases, seppareted by commas for instance, let's say I have 30 keywords that I want to trigger a reply, it's not possible with current system.

    There are some users who do not use email, or mobile number can be used instead of email to facilitate communication with the user.

  8. Additional history export options

    I would love to be able to export our chat history in 1) chunks bigger than 100 and 2) in a single file format, either csv or json.

    The current nested folder/one-json-per-chat format makes it very difficult to work with the otherwise valuable data they contain in any easy way.

  9. widget setting - Automatic Ticket instead of Offline Messages

    Widget needs a setting, when your offline you have the option to make an automatic ticket. No longer have to convert offline messages to tickets, thats annoying. Needs to go straight to ticket, cant reply to offline messages.

  10. Remove the resubmit button after the chat offline form is submitted

    When the chat offline form is submitted, a button resubmit is shown, which only resubmits the same form. In this way, we get double offline messages from the same customer. Can you please remove it or make it optional for this form?

    We currently don’t have an option to remove the “Send Again” button on the offline form.

    When a user clicks on the Send Again button, it will ask them again to fill in the form.

    This is helpful if your visitor needs to add another detail to their inquiry or raise a new message.

  11. There is an issue with the chat - short Estonian phone numbers are not supported. For example, if a phone number is 7 decimal places.

  12. Hotkey Setting for shortcut / button

    Hello,

    it is really hard to press hotkey / button on the right side with left hand all the time. It would be nice to have setting to configure button for this for example TAB button. I believe a lot of your clients would like to see this setting.

  13. Data for Visitor/Pageview Traffic

    Would be nice to export or see visitor data over a period of time. I know on the "monitoring" section you can see daily amounts however you basically need to estimate monthly/yearly traffic based on daily amounts. To be able to quickly view this data and export it would be very useful!

    fonts of chat widget in persian should improved.
    i can not find persian related fonts in chat widget settings.

    if the "IranSans" font or at least "Tahoma" font added to chat dashboard, the chat widget's appearance will improved as well.

    beacause this fonts are great for Persian (Farsi) language.

  16. Webhook for Knowledge Base search

    It will be very useful and will provide priceless insights having a webhook fired when a search is executed on the Knowledge Base searchbox (page and widget) that calls the URL as a POST request sending parameters:

    • timestamp
    • string of the search
    • number of results (zero is super valuable info)
    • country
    • etc.

  17. Privacy consent register

    By using a data request form at the beginning of the chat it is possible to request consent for privacy. But it is not possible to save a consent register, for the GDPR it is mandatory as I must always be able to demonstrate the sending of data through consent-based forms. There is currently no consensus register.

  19. Trigger conditions based on client side metadata

    Having the ability to add conditions based on the metadata (or attribute) that is set from the client would be incredible. This would make the triggers in Tawk much more flexible.

  20. Allow widget to specify which types of file can be sent in live chat

    I would like if the widget can specify which type of file the customer can send in live chat. Like i want to disable video uploads in the widget but allow customer to upload and send a picture
