  1. Increase number of characters available in widget content

    The current widget content only allows 150 chars that could be enough for some people, but for people that needs set the available hours or phone numbers or other info with a small introduction, could be small. Please allow to increase the char limit to 500 or 1000 for example

  2. Make at least 5 fields in the surveys in shortcuts

    Many businesses use surveys at the end of chats and these are always based on at least 5 stars. This also ties directly in with NPS (Net Promoter Score) that is used by thousands of companies as a benchmark of how customers feel about them or their experience. 5 Options is a Must! Thanks

  3. Improve Like / Dislike UI

    It appears our visitors are having trouble with the thumbs up/down. Example: double-clicking results in vote & unvote. Need to improve the UI here to make it more clear when vote is "active". Also, add js trigger events to JS API to be able to make 'onLike' & 'onUnlike' actionable.

  4. Email subject of chat transcripts should allow shortcodes such as [UserName]- helpful when responding to a chat via email

    Transcripts are a great idea, but when responding the client would be confused. It is also easier to filter via email when we have different subject titles for different users.

  5. Expand message checkbox functionality

    Currently the checkboxes within messages only have one option, Delete Selected Messages (or clear selection). That should be built out to offer additional functionality such as assign to agent, mark closed/open/pending, etc.

  6. Admin UI Options

    Add UI options for admin side. Example, the chat interface can get quite busy with automated system messages, navigation notices, interactions (minimizing, etc.) and all that. Our agents are sometimes missing visitors messages that get lost. It'd be nice to highlight visitor messages with light yellow background or something. I can envision other options as well, so a module to house these options would probably be prudent.

  8. Option to select what your agents can see

    Let the admin to choose what the agents can see, like if you want them to only see their own chats or hide the reports from them.

  12. Allow us personalize the emails tickets

    It will be great if the Tawk allow us to personalize the emails tickets, because all emails are sent in english, so I can't use that amazing tool because all my clients are brazilian (portuguese).

  13. Unique user identification

    This is the same idea as https://tawk.uservoice.com/forums/228427-feedback/suggestions/11489121-uniquely-identify-user-by-id ,
    but I strongly feel this suggestion was declined way too easily.

    Assuming only one person per IP address uses Tawk is not a good idea, and can for certain websites/web apps with certain user bases, create serious privacy issues.

    An API hook for unique sessions should clear out this issue.

  14. Keep the times set in the sheduler

    Keep the times from the sheduler active when disabling / re-enabling... we have to manually drag all the times again.

    Tawk.to Sites have a scheduler option in the assets. Tawk.to Pages does not have a scheduler option. Can you add the scheduler to the asset list for Tawk.to Pages?

    1. It would be great if it was possible to remove the ability for someone on my site to email themselves a transcript of the chat?


    2. It would also be very helpful if auto correct could be enabled on the backend for chat agents. I assumed that the browser would take care of this even if tawk.to doesn't have this internally but it doesn't

  19. Export and Import custom Knowledgebase by Property/account via API

    Property KB is client know-how and should be easily to export or import. It's annoying to build KB by copy/paste system. Even worse if it is needed approval of answers.

    It would be really great to simplify this process and make building KB faster with less manually work.

  20. Video Call To Include Chat sidebar/frame

    The New Video call and Voice Call Feature is amazing, Few points I would suggest.


    • On accepting or making a call, a new tab/page is opened which is good, but it would be nice if the chat from the same session is as well on the same screen, this way user wont have to switch back to site to send files and or to type.


    • Specially when they need to type out something. or to send files/attachements.


    • It would be great if screensharing is as well right on the same tab/page.
