  1. Get active or logged-in wordpress username or names automatically

    About the tawk.to plugin for WordPress, I believe it would be impressive to have the names or usernames of logged on users updated automatically when they are online to use the tawk.to app to reach administrators.

    That's what they expect and that's what we expect too. Having to make everyone type in their names or usernames for identification every time they use their mobile phones, desktop browser, incognito mode or change to a totally new browser is rather inconvenient.

  2. Encrypt messages to Ticket Forwarding Email

    When sending an email to the message system YOURCODE@tickets.tawk.to the emails are not encrypted.
    This represents a significant security risk for sensitive customer data

  3. Advanced departments

    Department function improvements:

    ​1. Chats can be assigned to chosen Department.
    Today all Agents, including those who are not assigned there, can see the incoming chats.
    It could be nice to set a parameter to avoid the visibility of all incoming chats and notifications for every department.
    The goal is to include a widget in a site page where customers can ask support only to a specific department.

    (​Currently, there is no setup to hide chats from some Departments.
    and all agent from all departments can be notified if nobobody answers. just consider to make this an option)

  5. moving and copying agents among properties

    The set of agents should be independent from properties, and assigning them to several properties should be done in a nice way, not having to invited them X number of times

    Consent form not set correctly on your live chat.
    All other softwares like comm100, livechat, appypie they set correctly.
    Online visitors appear always to operator if consent form is ON.
    On your live chat online visitors not appear to operator if consent form set ON.

    Monitoring statistics on your Dashboard and Triggers on your chat widget will not appear unless the visitor has accepted the terms in the consent form.

    The Consent Form section in your Dashboard gives you options for advising visitors of their rights and offering them a chance to consent before entering a chat.

    The “Welcome Message” that keeps popping up on all your pages is the Basic Site Notification Trigger.

    By default, this message is configured to fire after a 30-second delay that starts when a visitor lands on your site.

    You can remove or disable the Basic Site Notification Trigger to avoid conflict with any other Triggers that appears on single pages.

    To delete/disable the Trigger, follow these steps:

    1. Select Administration Section > Trigger

    2. Select the “Welcome Message” Trigger > Delete

    3. To disable the Trigger, open the Trigger and toggle the STATUS option to the off position.

  10. Have an configuration option to hide the widget at the beginning and show it only when there is an ongoing chat

    We have an ionic app, but we dont want the widget visible always. We have an option in the menu that programatically maximize the chat if the client want to chat with us.

    So, the widget would not be visible all the time, only when the user opens the chat from the menu, then the widget appears (so the user can see the badge for new messages we reply) and when the chat session is finished, we hide the widget again.

    That's important because in a mobile device we need to use the space in a very smart way, and…

    You can only hide your chat widget by setting the following conditions:

    1. Hide widget when offline

    This makes the chat widget invisible when you have no agents online and are not ready to accept chats.

    2. Hide widget on load

    This makes the chat widget invisible when a visitor navigates to your site.

    This is really only useful if you’re launching the widget another way — for example, with a text link. Otherwise, the visitor will not be able to view or use the chat.

    3. Ban specific visitors/locations (e.g. Russia)

    Restricting specific visitors from a location will hide the chat widget.

    Should you wish to use 3rd party KBs to direct readers to a third-party knowledge base, you can add a separate Card on your chat widget such as an a linked image or/and text link to redirect your users to these sites.

  14. Different widgets contact for one website on different pages

    Depending on the page visit the widge shows other content.

    We want to trigger vistors for a request for sample set, but only is they vist a certain page for a certain period of time.
    In that case we need name/adres/zip-code etc.

    On an other page url we only want the received name and email

    This feature isnot possible yet, but I suppose more clients would appreciate this feature

    I would suggest creating a Basic – Page Notification Trigger.

    This Trigger will only fire at a SPECIFIC page and will only start counting down the Delay once a visitor makes it to the URL.

    You can create one as follows:

    1. Select Administration (Click the gear in the left-hand menu) > Trigger > Add Trigger
    2. Select Trigger Type > Basic – Page Notification
    3. Add a Trigger name, Agent’s Name and select an image.
    4. Select the time Delay. You have the option to change it to NO DELAY (message fires instantly) or choose a delay ranging from 10 seconds up to an hour.
    5. Enter your SPECIFIC WEB URL.
    6. Under Trigger Message > Create a message asking for your visitor’s Name, Address, Zip Code, etc.

  18. Try to incorporate an easier way to send the message.

    Feedback I am getting shows visitors are confused about how to send the message from the chat window. At present only by clicking return. This is especially a problem on mobile and tablet devices where hitting return is not so easy. Some for instance are confusing the close cross button with a send button and just exiting by accident while trying to send. It would be great if an obvious send arrow could appear when typing or something similar.
