Allow to customize the mobile widget text
Some mobile users get confused when they see 'Chat' text on the widget and instead of thinking it's support chat they think it's websites internal messaging system.
It would be nice if we were able to customize it to say 'Support Chat' or 'Need help?' or something along those lines.61 votesTo All Our Valued Users,

We currently do not have an attention grabber for mobile. The widget will appear as either a bubble or a rectangular icon to visitors accessing your website with a mobile device.
The word “Chat” in the rectangular widget can not be modified.

enabling shortcuts in the middle of a sentence
I was surprised to see that is not possible to use of shortcuts is the middle of a sentence. So you can't use the SC to write something like: "please visit this page: /(something)......."
Some would say that you can put all the sentence in a shortcut already, but in my case it's not so easy because every client has different needs, therefore I cannot pre-set all the possible answers.Would it be difficult to fix this?

WYSIWYG for Shortcuts
I would love to be able to customize the way that links work in the Shortcuts. Being able to insert a proper <a href="..."> style link would allow us to work in our sales funnel flow much easier.

Send Button for Live-Chat
It`s needed for "noobs" at computers. So my mom would never use the keyboard. She would search the "send" button. So a "Send" button next to the live chat form would be a nice to have feature. Also i checked microsoft office supprot and bing ad live chat. They all use it. We too?

Monitoring triggers
It would be nice to see some information about triggers. How many times the have been triggered, at what pages, what did visitors do after the saw a trigger. Monitoring top-performing triggers, etc.

Closing chat message annoying
When a customer ends the chat there is a message saying that do you want to end the chat is annoying. Once customer click end chat, it means he or she want to end, still asking them is really annoying them. Please remove it.

Because the tawk.to widget does not load until after your website is fully loaded, your page load speed will not be affected by having a tawk.to widget on your site.
After your web page loads, the request to load your widget is made.
Ultimately, widget load speed will be affected by your device, browser and connection.

Set default Alias to a site
Set default Alias to a site, for example when a customer chats from site A, Alias A is selected by default., when a chat comes from site B Alias B is selected.

Duplicate "Site", copy property - to duplicate the widgets, settings, triggers etc
Duplicate "Site" option - to duplicate the widgets and settings and triggers etc (without having to create them from scratch each time, which is time consuming when you have to modify all the colours, behaviours, content etc for each and every customer you want to deploy Tawk.to on.

Customise the chat widget back end
Customise the chat widget back end so instead of it pulling in the first letter of the widget name - i can use a logo... This will make it very easy for my chat agents to identify from which website they are being talked to from

When you first create a property, the default property image includes the first letter of the property name with a random background color.

Remove IP associated cookies when chat ends. Give visitors 'public computer' option which automatically removes chat history and data
If visitors are using a public computer, removing cookies from the computer alone is not removing visitor personal data as it is associated with IP address for various amounts of time causing a breach of data protection.
Visitors do not always know about 'go incognito' option which seems to be the solution and therefore are putting personal information at risk without knowing.
There should be an option for client to choose 'public computer' and 'personal device' and explanation that by choosing personal device their personal information may be available to other computer users.

Allow HTML in triggers
Would be great if we could enter HTML in trigger's messages, so we can show links or other html features to users.

Auto-Direct to Offline Form if Department is Offline
If a customer selects a Department which is offline, it should redirect that request to the Offline 'Leave a Message' form.
It's frustrating for our other chat users in other departments who still have chat requests popping up when the chat query isn't relevant to them. In turn then frustrating the visitor when their query doesn't get dealt with or answered at all.

We currently do not have an Offline form settings for Departments that are offline.
The following suggested alternatives can be done to avoid such scenarios:
1. You can create separate Properties instead of Departments. With Departments, if there are no agents currently online in the department assigned to a chat, the remaining agents will hear the ring notification. This prevents the chat from going unanswered.
Instead of creating Departments, you can create separate Properties with the designated agents. The Offline form will be activated if no agents are online.
2. If you still prefer to have Departments, inform your customer that an agent from another Department will get in touch to assist them. You can also raise a ticket while in the chat and assign it to that Department.
