make the custom questions in prechat form be department dependent
when the user selects a department in the pre-chat form - it will be really useful to have specific custom questions for this depertment

Invite existing agents to be added to new site
After adding a new site, when inviting agents, display the existing agents in a list which checkboxes, so we can easily add them, or add all of them.
The current process of adding each agent again by sending an email one at a time is time consuming and seems unnecessary when they are already in the system.22 votes -
Make APK Downloadable directly from tawk.to
Make tawk.to APK Downloadable directly from tawk.to like WhatsApp does for their APK for example.
This is especially helpful if someone looses their Gmail account for example and Cannot get to the Google Play Store. Duh

Color code repeat visitors
It would be nice if visitors that return to your site after a day, or several hours time lapse, are color coded for easy recognition on the dashboard. That way we can make sure to initiate a chat with them if they don't start one or at least see what pages they are looking at that brought them back.

Enable markdown
You should enable markdown in the chats, so people can talk in bold, italics, and more using the markdown syntax in chats.

Being able to send a secure form for visitors to fill out so visitors feel comfortable sending private information
When a customer sends private information such as last 4 digits of credit card number or security question etc we should be able to create a secure forum for each question we want to ask securely and once we ask them to fill it out and they submit it we will be able to see what they wrote. just so customers feel safe when entering private information :D

Tickets only visible to assigned department's agents
When you assign a ticket to a particular department, only agents from that particular department will be able to see the ticket in the Messaging section.
Admins will still be able to see all tickets from all departments

Add a rule for triggers to stop them from running based on device type
Add a rule for triggers to stop them from running based on device type, as the automated messages on mobile disturb browsing by opening a new tab in the mobile browser. It would be desirable to exclude triggers from running on mobiles, at least for some situations such as early navigation on the website.

Number of monitoring people is incorrect
Number of monitoring people (in parentheses after monitoring text) is incorrect in browser dashboard.
In shows 6 people but when i click on monitoring, there is only one.

Access tawk dashboard from within Wordpress Admin Plugin
Like Zopim, they have a wordpress plugin to login to tawk account from within the Wordpress dashboard.
Hope tawk has this feature too!

Triggers > Allow A Start & End Date/Time (Validity Period)
It may be use for many if Triggers could be assigned with a beginning of life and end of life, ie. a Start Date/Time and/or End Date/Time.
This would effectively allow a trigger to offer a message to the visitor based date/time.
Real case scenario, to remind the visitor of an offer/promo/message to be shown to a visitor which is valid only for that given date/time period.
From a system maintenance point of view, tawk.to would not want to have too many redundant triggers sitting in their system, so I would suggest that the UI includes an option that allows…

Different Alerts for different websites
Different Sound Alerts for different websites. I have just added a new website and I would love it if you could have different sound alerts for different website. A quicker fix would be to disable sounds for certain websites.

Allow to go invisible with active chats
I want to set myself as invisible so I can leave after finishing up the current active chats.
Scheduler is not a solution for us as we have different shifts and so no fix Schedule to setup

On screen back button in the stand alone chat window on mobile devices is preventing us to use tawto in mobile applications
I am using tawkto standalone chat window in my android application using webview for customer support. There is a back button on the top left corner which is buggy and of no use. The page simply freezes if I hit that.
And yes, I know tawkto doesnt have Android API to integrate in apps but I am using this clever way of integrating using webview in app, this gets the job done upto some extent.
