Filter out own people (by IP or name) from monitoring
We have a lot of people in our company that use the website while building new features. I see all of these on the monitoring board which is noise when I want to see the real visitors.
I'd like to filter them out.
I'd suggest to filter them out either
- by using the IP address (which is proably the easiest)
or
- by name (everyone needs to enter a name and then I add them to a group 'own people' and then they are filtered out)

To All Our Valued Users,
Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for sharing your challenge here.
You may try the following suggestions to identify/limit your agents under the ‘Monitoring’ section:
To identify whether the visitor is your actual user or your agent, you can follow the steps below:
1. Ask your agents to visit your website and initiate a test chat.
2. Join the test chat.
3. In the top right section of your active chat window, select the ‘Details’ section (tab).
4. Rename the long auto-generated IP Address to your agent’s name. You can also add their email address.
5. Save all settings.
The next time your agent visits your website, their name will now appear under the ‘Monitoring’ section.
You can ban the IP Addresses of all admin and agents. Once banned, the widget will be hidden and will not be visible in the monitoring section.

Right now, you could always "ban" your IP addresses from the chat so they dont appear anymore.

That works for fixed IP, including dynamic hostnames should be possible

This can be done via Triggers :)

Be useful to add a list of IPs not to track. SO for example you add your office IP so staff don't show up in the visitor list etc.

Anyone else want this feature? Just that the daily figures are distorted by our own staff or developers staff when working on the site....or are we doing something incorrect?

Remove our IP or developers IP

It could be useful to have a feature to remove all the historic data and visitors, traffic, analysis, messages, etc for a period of time, because when you make own test on your own website, it gather and save all your fake data that represents only test traffic...

Please add that if the IP address is logged into the dashboard - it does not show as a chat user or track there history on the site.

Hide the chat owner ip address from visitors list.

Presently it looks like you can block IP addresses on a session basis but having the ability to create a permanent list of IP address filtering would be much more beneficial.

When there are 3 agents active with our website open i will see them also in livechat. I want to know if you can make agents ip adres hide from live visitors dashboard.

When developing or making changes to the site, Tawk counts every visit, including your own, so the stats are a bit off.
Could it be possible to have some filter to exclude some IPs from being counted in the stats? Thanks a lot

Exclude my own IP address (or admin's) so the chat system is not logging my actions and see me as a visitor.

It would be nice if we could suppress visitors from our company's ip address so we know they are not customers in need of service. As it is, many of our internal users need to be logged into the site all the time, and they get lumped in with actual customer visitors.
Thanks!

As a new user, I was testing tawk and have visited my widget a couple of times. Now that I'm ready to officially launch it, there's no option to reset it so the my visits are still there. I would have preferred if the stats was accurate by eliminating my trials.
