have an option to integrate with MailChimp
This option would greatly benefit my business as we're regularly asked to susbcribe people to our newsletter.

To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for reaching out. At the moment, we don't have a direct integration with MailChimp. Alternatively, you can use the Zapier integration to automatically send information between tawk.to and MailChimp. Helpful link: https://zapier.com/apps/tawk-to/integrations/mailchimp We've acknowledged your request and have forwarded it to the dev team. They will work with this suggestion and will add the feature in due course. If you have any other questions, require assistance, or just want to talk to someone at tawk.to, here is our calendar link: https://calendly.com/tawk-to-support/tawk-to-customer-support. We're happy to help!

Hi, Jon!
Current number of users is 95, since each user can put more points to his vote.
In this year we plan on making new integrations for the tawk.to, but main priority will be integration with social networks. -

Hi, here is Mike. My question is, if you are planning to develop this widget adding a possibility to check if the caller allows his name and email to be entered into a database for ex. the ActiveCampaign or Mailchimp? Would be great...

Makes no sense - this is silly as I regularly receive emails & transcripts from chats from other websites I visit. Whom is not allowing you? How come most other chats allow it. Please make our life easier. Pretty please ; ) Can add a check box to accept chat and/or email response maybe??

mailchimp integration is very important so that all the mail visitor fill before chat can be saved directly to our mailchimp email list

Quite frankly, it is none of your business what I do with my leads that I paid for or generated through my marketing. These days it is quite normal and common practice that people follow-up with emails as part of customer support... example... surveys, questionnaires, allow for advanced support via email, follow-up with FaQ's, etc. So your logic is... well... not logical.

Most if not all other support services allow you to export contacts. They are technically ours. As people have mentioned, you can have a simple check box on the chat form to check or uncheck to grant permissions for follow up up emails. I've given up and gone to another support system until this gets resolved. I would have no problem paying for this feature...

The visitor's consent could be requested through the pre chat form with a checkbox field, though it should be totally optional by default with no ability to make it a required field, this way the customer/visitor would not be obligated to tick the option in order to start a conversation.
