The main conversational platforms Google Assistant, Slack, and Facebook Messenger all have Dialogflow integrations. Use one of the various integration options if you wish to create an agent for one of these platforms. You don't have to worry about handling direct user interactions so you can concentrate on creating your agent. Every integration manages user interactions in a platform-specific manner

adding dialogflow as the first responder and then permitting a handover to live chat on condition user / customer is not happy with the AI responses

yes, It is really important now a days, You can included it for additional cost as a feature
You must take this tool to the next level with a bot or integration with an external service such as DialogFlow.
It's already urgent.
PS: until you could charge some cost for this additional feature...

+1 for this feature request. In fact it would be great if you can give an option where we can integrate with any chatbot platform (eg dialogflow) so that most of the user queries get answered by this bot and only when the bot fails, the request goes to the agent...
The agent should be able to able to view the conversation but can respond only when he is requested. Here is a simple implementation of the same: https://github.com/dialogflow/agent-human-handoff-nodejs
