changing the hours for the entire company is not ideal, especially if you're still handling tickets + chats while traveling and you're in a different timezone to the home office timezone.

I think you can go to Administration > Scheduler > Default and set your operating hours avoiding night time so that you're not disturbed during that time. Also, users can know that you're offline so they won't expect an instant response and just leave some offline messages.
