At the moment, we don’t have a direct Chat transfer to another agent. Rest assured that this feature is currently planned and our engineers are working towards its completion. The software upgrade will be posted as soon as it is implemented.

Setting it up for a large multinational. and everything was working lovely.. what a shame. -

I agree. We relying on two different departments handling certain parts of out Website. Sometimes a chat comes into one department that is meant for the other. What a pain to tell the customer to navigate to another page to start another chat session!

I think it's just a column in database and a text field form in front end, can please just add it?

This is a big limitation. We'll look into different chat solutions that allow to easily assign a chat to another department/agent.

For us, is very dificult to put the chat on "Another department queue" alerting these department members about a issue that must be transfered to other department.

Hey guys, its been almost a year since you said you were planning it. A hand off would be AMAZING for companies using departments to departments. and this is the second most requested item. Any updates?!?!
