Provide an option to change the Client Notification Sound
Provide an option to change the Client Notification Sound when the agent reply's. currently it have a sound just like a keyboard sound . it may not be audible to the clients. so it is better to change the client notification sound to a good tone. eg: facebook notification tone, hike notification tone, etc

To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for reaching out. At this stage, we currently don't have the option to change the client/visitor's notification sound. We're continuing to build out our Messaging product, and new updates will be released soon. We've acknowledged your request and have forwarded it to the dev team. They will work with this suggestion and will add the feature in due course. If you have any other questions, require assistance, or just want to talk to someone at tawk.to, here is our calendar link: https://calendly.com/tawk-to-support/tawk-to-customer-support. We're happy to help!

Any update on this? Did some tests and the current sound is barely audible. Even had someone testing it with me and didn't hear anything when I replied. So, a slight increase in the volume and/or the ability to change the notification sound would be a great improvement.

customers will ask a question and then I answer. and then I think they are done so I start doing something on my computer but turns out they usually have something else to say that I miss because I don't get any other alerts after that first one. SUPER ANNOYING

A reminder tone is needed for when an agent moves away from the conversation to find information but is then distracted by a call etc. A periodic bleep or pop up should sound to alert you that you have a conversation ongoing

Hi,
You are able to do that by going to Admin > Widget Settings. There you can disable agent typing notification by ticking the box.

It would be great to be able to control sounds for users, i.e. mute or lower them. As some users get scared when we write them.

UNDER REVIEW.. really? The new sound make the visitors ears bleed. Its way to high/sharp/loud.

this is a really good thing to do, like to make a tiny cute beepy water-drop sound instead, which is pleasantly to hear, and a volume controll, of course. Please, guys! i believe in you!

The sound the visitor listens to on the website is very ugly. You should put more sound options.

By allowing to customize "cluck" sound for new message at customer side, Tawk.to will be better and more awesome.

Yes, the sound the user hears for incoming messages is not very noticeable at all. I hate this when I'm using a chat and I can't hear when an operator responds. I end up getting disconnected for no response because there was no sound prompting me to check for messages.

The 'Tok' noise often scares the visitors away or some have said they dont always hear it.
