The ‘Disable browser tab notification’ setting stops alerts from showing up in the page title of your browser. Follow the steps below to enable these settings: 1. Administration tab > Chat Widget 2.     For anyone still looking in to this, I think I have found a new setting in Widget Settings: Disable browser tab notification.

    Which, I think, since turning on, has stopped the 1 new message title changes.

    Add an option to disable the '1 new message' site title change for idle widgets.

    I feel it confuses site visitors.
