To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for reaching out. I would suggest creating a group chat with your fellow agents to see whether or not they are online. Follow these steps to create a group chat: 1. Click the + sign icon beside the GROUPS name located on the top left side of your Dashboard. 2. Enter the group name and select the property members. 3. To see which agents are online, select your new group under Group Chat. A new window will open showing all of the agents in the group and whether or not they are currently online. You can also create a Group Chat in the TAB SECTION, However, the online statuses of your agents will only appear within the chat conversation. The benefit of creating a Group Chat Tab is that you can chat with other agents without having to exit…

Instead of having to click the Direct Messages button, can there be a person icon in the taskbar to see everyone's status? Would be great if Admins could use that same area to see reporting on each member. To see when they were signed in each day among other stats.

Currently, there is no function allowing you to hide chats from other departments, however, I've been advised this feature is on our roadmap. Your request is acknowledged and updates will be posted once the feature has been implemented. +3 Please allow each business to decide if they will allow sharing members among departments for chats or isolating members to their assigned department.

We would prefer to isolate members to their department.

+3 Yes, please allow each Department to have its own Scheduler.

Our Repairs, Parts, Delivery departments close a few hours before our Sales department.

Currently, customers starting a chat with a Offline [no Members logged in] department means customers get annoyed wondering why no one replies. After starting a chat, their widget then says Online even though it initially said Offline next to the Department selector.

Tawk suggests that Members from Other Departments can respond to that customer.

Maybe that works for some businesses, but we don't want a Sales person trying to answer a Repairs question.

Instead, please allow each business to make that decision of sharing members among departments for chats or isolating members to their assigned department.

We would prefer to isolate members to their department.

We would prefer customers trying to chat with a Offline department to be presented with the "Offline" widget prompt to leave a message.

We would prefer Department specific Scheduling so that Members do not have to spend extra time logging out and back in every day.

+3 Please allow us to choose Timezone for the time stamp in Mail Notification emails. By default, the timezone of mail notifications should match the Timezone we selected in Widget Scheduler; not default of GMT+0.
