Widget 4.3.0 – Release date 2026-10-13
This release adds phone number length checks to forms, improves the department dropdown and fixes several display issues.
Major Changes
- Added phone number length checks for each country to the pre-chat, offline, inline and ticket forms, so visitors can’t enter a number that’s too long and see the maximum number of digits allowed.
- Added translations for the new phone number error message and the screen reader hint for the digit limit.
- Improved the department dropdown so it always opens with enough room to show the options, and opens upward when there isn’t enough space below.
Minor Changes
- Changed highlighted text in the widget to use the browser’s default highlight color.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the chat window opened blank on some websites.
- Fixed long messages and suggested messages being cut off in the message preview.
