Numeric red encircled notification on top of "App icon" To highlight that i have a chat alert.
Tawk.to iphone app shows push notification and ring a sound when i get an chat, But push notification remains active for only 5 sec or so. Tawk.to app does not show a numeric notification on top of the "app icon" like other apps do. If i missed the push notification or ringtone, i will have no way to know that i missed some important chat.
To have the icon on the taskbar start flashing orange once a message comes in when using the windows app as it is difficult to know that a chat has come through if you don't have sound and happen to miss the notification
When tawk use the desktop, i can not see it blinking, Besides the sound.
For example, this is a notification window function.
Lets say I have 7 tabs in my browser open, and I'm working on a tab, it would be great to have a number show on the Tawk.To tab to show how many live (monitoring) are on the websites should you have the sound down..as the number appears or changed you can flick to that tab to check.
Imagine if I am the only worker at my webshop, and I was away for 1 minute to get some coffee, and the Tawk app is running in the background. A visitor starts a chat, and the sounds goes off aswell with a ballon. The sound however stops after 5 times and the ballon goes away after 3 seconds or something. I did not hear the sound or saw the ballon. How am I supposed to know if there is a chat, when I was away for a minute? Is it the meaning that I re-open the app every time I went away to check for messages? My idea is a flashing icon that stays flashing when a unread chat awaits for a reply, or that the ballon dont go away, unless you click on it.
Believe it or not, I've forgotten that I am logged into my Tawk Android app before and have missed chats because I didn't hear the sound notification or my phone was away from me. Would be great to include an option to show a small Tawk.to icon in the notifications bar showing that I'm logged in and visible. This would be a great reminder to logoff at the end of the day.
