Ask customer for email / name while chatting. Pre-chat form in chat
It would be nice to have a input box drop into the chat window, as the chatting is going, asking for the users name / mail, and it would fill out the name and email in the dashboard. it could be an option under pre-chat form called "while-in-chat form" or something like that :)

@Justin Norman yes we can use pre-chat forms. But how about chat that already started by bots or trigger system?

To structure user input i would like ability to create custom forms which can be sent to visitor on demand. Useful for product selection/configuration, contact details, etc.

Same here: we need a way to CHANGE the V123123123123 to a contact/email after the chat started. The pre-chat form is one option but there are situations when you cannot ask the visitor for email before the conversation.

they have this feature - its called pre-chat forms, you can setup what information is pulled.

Please add feature "request visitor details" like name, email, phone number, where they coming from, etc when chat already started.
For example, my chat have trigger invite visitor to chat and visitor reply... visitor doesnt have name, email, etc... so agent can request visitor details like name and email.. like this http://prnt.sc/dk1x4a

trigger setting to have pre-chat form. user can start the chat without giving out their information, once the chat is started they would feel more comfortable giving out their information

When visitor initiate a chat that time he/she needs to fill a contact form which works gr8! Now when agent initiates a chat that time it does not ask for contact form rather there should be a way agent can send contact form on demand.

We already have the Pre-Chat form, and that is good,
But when the Agent is the one that is starting the chat, the pre-chat form cannot be shown,So it would be nice to have someway to show the "pre-chat form" during the conversation, and it would be nice to be able to show a custom form too.
