Add a Staging/Test Mode for Live Chat Widgets
DeclinedIt would be great to have a dedicated staging mode for the chat widget. Many website owners test changes on a staging environment before deploying them to production, but the current widget can make testing difficult because conversations and settings are tied to the live configuration.
For example, while updating https://mifoneportalsep.com.mx/, I wanted to verify the widget's appearance and behavior before publishing changes. A staging mode with separate conversations and settings would make the testing process much easier and reduce the risk of affecting live visitors.
This would be especially useful for developers and agencies managing multiple websites.

Hi there, you can do this today by creating a separate property for your staging site. Add that property’s widget code to staging, test your changes there, then apply them to your live property once you’re happy. Conversations and settings stay separate between the two.
