Desktop client taskbar ICON FLASH for incoming notifications

My staff use PC's with no speakers attached so need a visual indication for incoming chats.
Desktop client icon does not flash currently. Other chat systems we have used such as Formilla and PureChat desktop clients DO flash.
The browser tab can indicate incoming chats visually so please make the desktop client do it, otherwise whats the point in the desktop client app?
