Hi!
Thank you for the suggestion.Web-dashboard will show agent as not online after some time.
Only session on our mobile apps (Android and iOS) will keep widget always in Online state. To make widget be in Offline you can change your status on mobile to “Invisible”, log out or end mobile session from other device (in web: Profile – Browser & App sessions).
Also you can use the “Scheduler” feature to auto turn the widget online/offline during certain hours.

To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for sharing your challenge here. At this stage, we currently don't have the red indicator badge icon on our tawk.to mobile app. We do, however, have sound and banner notifications for both iOS and Android devices: 1. iOS: https://help.tawk.to/article/enabling-sound-and-badge-notifications-on-ios 2. Android: https://help.tawk.to/article/enabling-notifications-on-android We're continuing to build out our Messaging product and have taken on your suggestion. We will post updates once the feature has been implemented. I would have this as an option for users to add themselves.
The app no doubt has to poll the server to see if there are any new msgs and obviously this would be something triggered by a remoting callback mechanism rather than continuous polling by the app
... are we there yet?
... are we there yet?
That would be moronic
So when a person connects to your page then at that point the server would check to see if you were online.
If your mobile gets a connection the it would also set the system to online
There needs to be a timeout mechanism were the server checks to see if the agent is available.
