    To All Our Valued Users, Thank you for choosing tawk.to and for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Definitely! You can create a trigger that fires after your visitor fills in the form. I have personally tested these advanced trigger settings and the trigger successfully fires with the message I'vecreated. (Example: "Hi, Thank you for reaching out") You can do as follows: 1. Select Administration Section > Trigger > Add Trigger 2. Select Trigger Type > Advanced 3. Type the Trigger Name and Description 4. Under CONDITION > When a visitor sends a chat message 5. Under CHECK > All of the following conditions 1. Account Status > Equals > Online 6. Under ACTIONS > Send message to visitor 7. Type the agent’s name and your message (This is where you can input a message letting your customer know that the chat has been initiated.) I hope…

    Idea is to be able to have pre-chat form normally required UNLESS chat was a trigger wich in that case allow to continue chat without pre chat form

    Based on this https://tawk.uservoice.com/forums/228427-feedback/suggestions/9229221-pre-chat-form-after-trigger there are many people such as myself who want the vice versa feature, If there is any triggered message then, the pre-chat appears naturally as if it were a conversation balloon

    Hi!
    On mobile we can’t change this behaviour at this time.
    Since the chat is full-screen, it would be bad user experience to interrupt visitor from viewing your website.
    On PC browser trigger will open a chat to show trigger message to a visitor.

    Basically now the way its setup for desktop you can have the trigger message nicely popup while on mobile it will just show a blurb with a 1 that there's a message, would be nice if it can pop out the message just like on desktop

An alternative method is to create a Trigger message asking for their information. You can also create Shortcuts or canned responses for repetitive questions visitors ask. Setting up Shortcuts saves you time and keeps your responses accurate and consistent. This also ensures that your spelling and grammar are correct.     I'm porting this from a comment on another idea which I believe would be extremely useful and deserves its separate page:

    The ideal for this function is as it exists in other chats, the pre-chat appears naturally as if it were a conversation balloon, as if the attendant had talked to him and asking first the name and then the email.

    And also I can choose when it appears, example: I create a trigger to give a friendly answer every time a user starts a coversa, then after this initial message, in the same conversation appear a chat asking the name of the client, and after that he answers the name by asking the email.

    Thanks for the attention to customers, everything is suggestions for improvement.
